MJ2 students specialising in documentary spent the afternoon of October 20 at CTV Ottawa.

It was the day after the election and things were as calm as if nothing had happened the previous day.

Accompanied by instructor Christopher Redmond, they sat in the story meeting for the 6pm newscast; had the opportunity to ask questions about CTV Ottawa newscasts, met anchor Graham Richardson, executive producer John Ruttle and the rest of the team.

They were taken on a tour round the studios of CTV and CFRA Radio by anchor and reporter Matt Skube. The tour ended at the studios of TV1, a community television studio which is also located in the same building as CTV and has Redmond as senior producer.
