The December edition of our new monthly research series – where two presenters discuss various “behind the scenes” aspects of their recently published research – will feature Professors Irena Knezevic (“Recalibrating Data on Farm Productivity: Why We Need Small Farms for Food Security”) and Benjamin Woo (“From Comic-Con to Amazon: Fan Conventions and Digital Platforms”). Please come having read both articles. The authors will present for 15 minutes each, allowing 30 minutes for questions and discussion. After the event, we will have an additional 30 minute social time and further discussion.
These events are designed with the intention of fostering a culture of discussion on recently published faculty and/or graduate student research, so as to both illuminate the publication process and to further build an intellectual culture of research circulation.
