Kevin O'Rourke McColl

Biography

Born and raised in Toronto, Kevin is excited to be trading the sight of the CN Tower for the Peace Tower, and joining Carleton’s School of Journalism and Communication. Kevin’s background is in the study of religion, having completed a BA at the University of Toronto and an MA at Queen’s University. He is pursuing a Master of Journalism because it provides him with the opportunity to combine his love for research, writing, and learning new things. Kevin hopes to use his background to explore journalism relating to the topics of religion and spirituality, but is also passionate about transportation, sports, and the arts. He is looking forward to learning new skills and collaborating with his peers throughout the program.
