Adedapo Adebare

Biography

Adedapo graduated from Cyprus International University (CIU) with a BA High Honours in Journalism.

He is passionate about lending his voice to issues around him and this led him to become the Journalism department’s representative on the CIU student council.

He also volunteers at World Changers with God; a Nigerian NGO focused on the United Nations first four sustainable development goals.

Adedapo is very passionate about journalism and being the people’s mouthpiece and this led him to work at Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria which is the largest radio network in Africa.

From a young age, he has been fascinated by how sports unites the world and this made him chase a career in sports Journalism.

Adedapo has set out to debunk the myth that Sports reporting is the ‘toy department’ of the Journalism world and he believes Carleton University is the right place to further that goal.
