André Picard went to the Globe and Mail straight out of J-school as a summer student—and he never left. Thirty-one years of meticulously researched columns and articles, along with five best-selling books, have made him one of Canada’s best-known media voices on health care. Among his many honours, André is an eight-time nominee for the National Newspaper Awards, and he’s won the prestigious Michener Award for Meritorious Public Service Journalism. He received an honorary doctorate from Carleton in 2017.
