Joshua Bezanson

Biography

Joshua Bezanson recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa in an Honours Bachelor of Political Science. During his undergraduate, he worked as a Government Relations Strategist for the Canadian Dental Association. In the role, Joshua helped to expand coverage of the federal public dental plan as well as working with Indigenous groups to advocate for expanded denture coverage for Indigenous patients.

Joshua is a committed writer. He completed his first fiction novella in 2025 and aims to publish a novella collection by 2027. He has published with the uOttawa student paper The Fulcrum. Additionally, he has written about local issues for the Leveller and for the Centretown Buzz. He is drawn to human focused narratives which centre the personal experiences of people affected by politics.
