Stephen Cook

Biography

Stephen recently completed his M.A. in English Literature at the University of British Columbia. His thesis, for which he received a scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, analyzed the narratives of urbanity in several Batman comic series. Stephen hopes to continue this kind of cultural critique in his journalism career, ruining your favourite pop culture franchises by pointing out their precarious ideological underpinnings.
