As a recent graduate of Carleton University’s Bachelor of Journalism and Humanities program, Madison has worked with communities within the city to produce impactful stories. With a special interest in community and culture, she has produced stories surrounding the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, safe consumption and Indigenous cultures. She has since expanded her scope from Ottawa, building connections in Akwesasne, Winnipeg and Uganda.

Madison enjoys reading, exploring new places and adventuring in nature. Her work is driven by a passion to learn from others and uplift voices that have been underrepresented. She has been published in The Narwhal, interned with CBC Manitoba and volunteered with Farm Radio International to gain experience as a multiplatform journalist. Video is her craft of choice. She appreciates the opportunities for creativity and expression that can be captured through a lens.
