Emily Everett

Biography

Emily Everett is a Canadian settler and MA student in Migration and Diaspora Studies at Carleton University, whose research and professional experience are grounded in community-based, participatory, and decolonial approaches to program and policy development. Formerly a program manager at both Universities Canada and True North Aid, Emily brings experience from the higher education and nonprofit sectors, alongside her work supporting remote Indigenous communities across Canada on locally led projects. As Program Manager, Emily is responsible for program coordination, evaluation, and reporting, and works closely with the CJIIC team and partners to ensure initiatives remain responsive and centred on the priorities of CJIIC learners.
