Biography

Julien Greene is a CBC reporter based in Whitehorse, Yukon, on the lands of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council.  

Julien graduated from Carleton’s University’s journalism school in 2015.  

Since then, he has dedicated his career to telling stories about the land and water. He calls his reporting land-based. 

Julien has previously worked at APTN, The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and The Narwhal.

Julien is Haudenosaunee (Kanyen’kehá:ka/Onyota’a:ka) on his mother’s side and is a proud member of Six Nations of the Grand River.  

Julien likes to go on walks with his dog, Onee, fish and write music.
