Brittany Greening

PhD Student

Biography

Brittany holds a BEd in Secondary Music from the University of Alberta, an MA Musicology from Dalhousie University, and a Certificate in University Teaching and Learning, also from Dalhousie University. She is currently in the first year of her coursework as a PhD student in Communications and Media Studies.  Her research interests include Canadian music and arts scenes, arts and music pedagogy and teaching practice, the ephemeral concepts of creativity and artistic influence, the politics and labor of artistic production, and the nuances of Canadian municipal arts policy. Brittany is proud to serve as the current Graduate Student Representative for the IASPM-Canada Executive Committee.
