BA (History), Concordia University
A four-time Paralympian and former member of Canada’s National Swim Team, Brian has been honoured to represent Canada throughout much of the past two decades. Born in Duncan, B.C., Brian relocated to Montreal in late 2004 in order to pursue full-time training and academics at Concordia University. He is particularly interested in the study of public affairs, domestic and foreign policy, as well as the advancement of human rights. Brian’s experience as an athlete has permitted him the opportunity to build lasting friendships with competitors from across the globe, and to visit some of the world’s most fascinating and intriguing locations. Brian is thrilled to be completing his Master of Journalism at Carleton, and looks forward to sharing his stories, and to discovering the stories of others.
