Abigail Ieraci

Biography

Abby graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2024 where she double majored in English and Political Science. During her time there she produced the Circle of Fashion Podcast and joined the McGill Student Comedy Club. Growing up and working in Toronto, while studying in the heart of Montreal, gave her a diverse Canadian metropolitan perspective.

After completing her bachelor’s degree, she began working at a non-profit and took great interest in the stories and lives of newcomers, youth, and seniors that she worked with. Her academic and professional career led her to pursue the Master of Journalism at Carleton.

Abby’s unique interests and background drive her to focus her journalistic pursuits on the social, political, and economic intersections of fashion, media, and overall cultural influences with a Canadian forward perspective.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing creative long and short form fiction, making visual art collages, and practicing her sewing skills.
