    Biography

    Isabel is a London, Ontario local who moved to Ottawa for school in 2019. She graduated from Carleton University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Journalism and a minor in Law.

    Isabel was heavily involved with student newspapers during her undergraduate studies. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Charlatan during the 2022-23 academic year, where she led a team of several budding journalists to publish news that affects Carleton University and the surrounding community. She is now an Associate Producer for CBC Ottawa’s current affairs radio programs.

    Isabel has focused her reporting on the sexual health, disability and queer communities. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, culture, and public health. In all her work, Isabel brings compassion, curiosity and a focus on diversity.
