A distinguished career in journalism, public service and volunteer leadership.
Jodi White’s career has covered federal politics, public policy, and both the private and nonprofit sectors, but she began as TV news reporter and then radio producer at the CBC. She worked as chief of staff to Prime Minister Kim Campbell and as vice-president of Imasco Limited, and is a past president of the Public Policy Forum. White was named to the Order of Canada in 2013. In June 2016 she was awarded a degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa by Carleton “in recognition of a distinguished career in journalism, public service and volunteer leadership.”
