Biography
Denise Leafe is a proud Haudenosaunee woman, mother, and grandmother from Kenhtè:ke (Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory), and a member of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. She has dedicated her working life to her community as a Health Care Aide, Personal Support Worker, Practical Nurse, Social Service Worker, and now as the SSF for the CJIIC program. As a graduate of the Social Service Worker program at FNTI, Denise sees the value of education.
