Théo Lemarchandel

Biography

As a recent graduate from Bishop’s University, Théo holds a B.A. Honors in International Studies. Originally from France, he has studied in both Canada and Australia, where he developed a deep interest in international affairs and how journalism can bridge cultures and perspectives.

During his undergrad, Théo sparked a strong research focus on Indigenous issues, political extremism and the intersection of sports and politics.

His passion for journalism started in high school, when he took part in the school’s radio club. This experience ignited his creativity and deepened his interest in broadcast media. Since then, Théo has contributed to Le Courrier Australien, writing for the Francophone community in Melbourne, and worked with Radio Roazhon in France, focusing on sports journalism.

In his spare time, Théo enjoys playing sports, listening to podcasts, and travelling.
