David Lochead

Biography

After five years in Halifax, David has returned to Ottawa to take his Master of Journalism here at Carleton. David’s interests include looking at how society works and the different challenges it brings. This is reflected in his undergraduate degree, a B.A in International Development with a minor in Political Science. David is pursuing a career in journalism because of the ability to tell human interest stories and report on the issues that matter to people.

He has spent time volunteering in organizations dedicated to environmental causes, national policy and international policy.

Outside of journalism, you can find him playing sports, reading and drinking black coffee.
