Louise Rachlis is currently a freelance writer for Postmedia newspapers and other publications. She was the first to hold the position of Advertising Features Editor at the Ottawa Citizen. From 1985 to 2010, she wrote for and oversaw hundreds of special sections, features and glossy magazines. Before that, Rachlis worked as an Information Officer with the Ontario ministries of Education and Colleges and Universities. She received a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University in 1968, ranking second in overall class standing.
