Biography
Anthony completed his MA in European Studies, specializing in the domestic politics of France and EU-China relations. Whether working with the Embassy of Germany or assisting graduate students from across Europe in their research, Anthony’s previous academic work provided him with the political analysis skills that are necessary to assess the news that matters.
Anthony has a passion for current affairs, and two important values motivate his desire to be a political journalist: a belief in public service media and putting people at the centre of stories.
While employed as an English teacher and travelling extensively throughout France and Italy, Anthony collected insights about societal issues through the lens of local people. He utilized a fluent comprehension of several European languages to immerse himself in media from various countries to gain different perspectives.
Anthony was born and raised in Toronto in a multicultural environment. With a BA in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies, he is fascinated by understanding the dynamic complexities of modern societies around the globe. He worked in marketing as a creative writer early in his career.
