Maggy McGunigal

Biography

Maggy recently graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BA (Hons) degree in psychology and a minor in English. In the past year she also had the pleasure of serving as copy associate for the University of Manitoba’s student newspaper, the Manitoban. She has always loved reading and writing, and this job sparked her curiosity in journalism which set her on the path to pursue graduate studies at Carleton. After several years learning about research and social issues through the lens of social psychology, she is excited to bring this perspective to her studies in journalism.

Outside of school, Maggy likes to visit local thrift stores, do craft projects and take dance classes. She is excited to start this new adventure at Carleton and explore all that Ottawa has to offer.
