Craig Meerkamper

Biography

Craig graduated from Western University in 2023 with a BA Honours in Media, Information and Technoculture. His undergrad got him deeply interested in the power media and messaging had to influence social behaviour, and is where he developed a love/hate fascination with advertising. He was involved in Theatre Western, Western Comedy Club, and became president of the Kappa Alpha Literary Society. He highly values direct civic engagement and has worked elections both at the polls and as a volunteer on two successful campaign trails.

He lives and works in his hometown Toronto and publishes articles with Spacing Magazine which focuses on topics of Canadian Urbanism and how we can shape the public spaces that surround our lives.

Craig loves animals and will go out of his way to pet your dog. He’s looking forward to starting his masters at Carleton and working with other passionate Canadian Journalists.
