Founder editor of the Toronto Sun.
As a soldier in the Second World War and Korean War, long-time foreign correspondent for the Toronto Telegram, and newspaper editor, Peter Worthington never backed away from a good fight. The renowned founding editor of the Toronto Sun won four National Newspaper Awards and was inducted into the Canadian News Hall of Fame in 1996. When he died in 2013 at age 86, Worthington was still writing a regular column for the Sun newspaper chain.
