Brendan Shykora

Brendan completed his undergraduate degree with specializations in English and Political Science at UBC’s Okanagan campus in Kelowna. Brendan spent his third year studying in Konstanz, Germany, and has been enthralled with travel ever since.

Reading and writing have been Brendan’s primary passions since high school, and during his undergraduate studies these passions were met with an interest in how the world works, and how one might effect positive changes within complex social and political spaces. This convergence of interests is what has led Brendan to the MJ program at Carleton, where he hopes to learn how to put his writer’s toolset to good use.
