Alex Wauthy

Biography

Alex graduated with distinction from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Media and a minor in English. While at TMU, Alex volunteered for multiple student publications and earned an internship at CBC Sports. He also freelanced for The Hockey News, covering the Professional Women’s Hockey League.

Alex currently works as an associate producer at CBC Victoria.

Alex is excited to move from his hometown of Victoria, B.C, to Canada’s capital and take advantage of the opportunities provided at Carleton to pursue political and sports journalism while continuing to grow as a journalist.

In his free time, Alex enjoys watching and playing sports, reading, and listening to music.
