Jacquie Ballantine was recently featured in a Carleton Newsroom story about the upcoming fall convocation, which is taking place this Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Ballantine began her PhD in Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies in 2017. Over the course of her studies, she worked with groups of autistic and non-autistic students and faculty to learn about the lived experiences of autistic students.

In 2022, Ballantine won second place in Carleton University’s Three Minute Thesis competition and went on to represent Carleton in the regional finals.
