Hi, I’m Gabbie (they/them). I am a third year student at Carleton in the B.A Honours Program studying Childhood & Youth Studies, with minors in Psychology and English: Language & Literature. I’m interested in this field of study because I one day hope to become a therapist or counsellor for queer and trans children/youth, specifically focusing on narrative practices of therapy where the client and their life stories are centre focus!
When I am not writing frantically in a notebook trying to catch up with lectures, I am stage managing and being an Artistic Director for Sock ‘n’ Buskin, and I work for the Gender & Sexuality Resource Centre at Carleton. I also enjoy reading, writing, collecting funky earrings on Etsy, and listening to DnD podcasts with no intention of actually learning the rules of DnD.
