At present time, rapidly evolving technologies and postmodern conceptions of media have made the definition of cinematic space difficult to articulate. This conference will address this quandary by looking at the differences between what is new, what is the same, and the current fluidity of cinema. Inspired by the changing dynamics in the discourse of cinema, we are looking to re-evaluate the cinematic by considering what all cinematic space and the material objects that comprise that space might encompass.
