Capital Development and Infrastructure Renewal

Overview

Carleton University is building on our strengths by investing to improve our facilities and infrastructure to move us forward and beyond.   The University is taking significant strides towards improving the conditions of facilities through a combination of new infrastructure and the renewal of existing buildings.

Carleton’s Board of Governors approved a $140 million budget over 10 years to address pressing capital improvements to significantly reduce the level of deferred maintenance on our campus.

Carleton’s Capital Development and Infrastructure Renewal team is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of major capital construction of new facilities and renovation projects related to the reduction of deferred maintenance and infrastructure renewal

The primary purpose of these projects is to support the goals of Carleton University through the fostering of academic innovation, enriching student experience, strengthening enrollment, supporting research excellence, sustaining campus renewal and engaging our community.
