Jane Freeland, who received her PhD in 2016 with an award winning dissertation on domestic violence in postwar East and West Germany, has taken on the position of book review editor of the journal Gender and History. The journal is one of the highest impact addresses for work in the history of gender and sexuality, with a recent issue covering trans history in transnational perspective.
