Areas of Research: Alisha is conducting oral history interviews for her project, entitled “Remembering the Civil Service: A Study of Aboriginal Labour Experiences in the Post-War Ottawa Federal Civil Service.” She is gathering the experiences and memories of Aboriginal women and men who have worked in the civil service in Ottawa, with a focus on currently working temporary, permanent, or retired employees.
