What is your favourite thing about the program?
My favourite thing about my time as a history undergrad has to be the amount of new skills I’ve learned and the great connections I’ve made. The history program has helped me to become a much more critical thinker and to challenge many norms in history and in current day society.
What will you miss the most?
I’ll miss the great lectures from my professors, the lectures where there was no need for any power points or videos as the professors speaking was so passionate it immersed myself fully into the topic.
What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?
Behind the Urals and the classic All Silent on the Western Front were two of my favourite reads.
What’s next for you?
I hope to join the Canadian Armed Forces to gain experience and knowledge as I wish to eventually complete a Masters in military history and eventually conduct and publish my own research on the Second World War, my favourite historical period.
