Research Topic: Canada’s New Left and the State: The Student Union for Peace Action and the Company of Young Canadians

My current research focuses on the connections between the Student Union for Peace Action and the Company of Young Canadians. Through examining both of these groups in terms of their organizational structure, their projects, and their political goals, I hope to gain a better understanding of the relationship between the New Left and the state in 1960s Canada.
