MATH BOOTCAMP, grades 9-12
August 25-28, 2025
Carleton Math Enrichment Centre will hold a MATH BOOTCAMP for high school students in grades 9-12 (indicated grades are students’ grades in September 2025).
Students will refresh their math skills after the summer break. They will also preview their next grade’s math. There will be enrichment lectures on interesting mathematics outside school curriculum. Students will also explore Math and Stats careers in the Federal Government.

9:00 – 9:30am Warm-up Problem Solving
9:30 – 11:00am Lecture on a Topic of the Day
11:00 – 12:00 Problem Solving
12:00 – 1:00pm Lunch
1:00 – 3:00 Problem Solving
3:00 – 4:00 Enrichment / Professional Orientation Lecture
Problem Solving Sessions will be on the Topic of the Day. These sessions will be done in tutorial sections led by the Teaching Assistants. The size of each tutorial section is capped at 15 students.
Registration Information
Registration Fee: $200 (Grade 9), $200 + HST (Grades 10-12).
Registrations will open in mid-April.
Once you register, please complete the following Informed Consent and Indemnity Agreement / Student Code of Conduct, and email it to bootcamp@math.carleton.ca within 7 days of your registration. For late registrations, please email it no later than August 20.

For students with limited financial resources fee waivers may be available. If you intend to apply for a fee waiver, please do NOT complete the regular registration. If you register for the course and then get approval for a fee waiver, there will be a non-refundable administration fee of $25 per registration.
