Physics I (In-person)
grade 9*, or grade 8 students who have completed either Basic Algebra or Problem Solving in Algebra.
*Refers to the level of mathematics/physics and not to the actual age.
We will cover in-depth the following topics:
- Electricity (Fall term)
- Kinematics and Ballistics (Winter term)
Pre-requisite: Knowledge of basic algebra.
Example: being able to express t = … from the equation s = vt + d.
2024/25 Course Information
The course will run in-person on Mondays, 5:30-7:00pm from September 2024 to April 2025 (Break in December).
Maximum enrollment is 40 students per class.
We reserve the right to cancel the course with a full refund if minimum enrollment is not reached.
2023/24 Course Information
The course will run in-person on Mondays, 5:30-7:00pm from September 25, 2023 to April 2024 (Break in December).
New class location for the Winter term: Nideyinàn (formerly known as the University Centre) room NN 376 (Section A) and NN 378 (Section B).

Registration Information
Registration fee: $515.
For students with limited financial resources fee waivers may be available. If you intend to apply for a fee waiver, please do NOT complete the regular registration. If you register for the course and then get approval for a fee waiver, there will be a non-refundable administration fee of $25 per registration.
