How are Syrian refugees’ lifeworlds constituted in relation to their lives in Syria and their experiences as refugees in Canada? This talk presents ongoing research into Syrian refugee lifeworlds in Ottawa that inquires into how authoritarian echoes shape Syrians displacement, settlement, and visions of their future.
