Amanda completed her BA Honours at Carleton University before beginning the PhD program in 2016. Her areas of interest are Gender and Diversity and Political Theory. Her research interests are intersectional feminist theory and ancient Greek political philosophy. She is particularly interested in the works of Plato. In her thesis, she hopes to combine her two fields of interest by examining the role of women in ancient Greek political thought. Her work is supervised by Dr. Tom Darby.
In her free time, Amanda reads, spends time with her cat, and runs a beauty blog.
