Since graduating from Carleton I am now Associate Professor of Global and Social Studies at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, in Ecuador (The sole exclusively Graduate University in the country). I am also Director of the Doctorate programme in Latin American Studies and Co-Director of the Research Centre for State studies.
One thing I would highlight from my education at Carleton was the well-balanced approach between teaching and research. And, evidently, its Faculty. I have constructed a successful career on the basis of the education I received at Carleton.
