Participants Needed for VR/XR Research Study
We are looking for participants for a research study titled “Measuring Presence in the Real World and Extended Reality.”
In this study, participants will complete a short search task in the real world, virtual reality, or mixed reality, followed by surveys about their experience.
- Study Duration: Approximately 30 minutes
- Compensation: $10 upon completion
- Location: Room 2116, Human-Computer Interaction Building, Carleton University
Participants must be at least 18 years old, comfortable in English, have vision in both eyes with no depth perception issues, and have use of at least one arm and hand with no movement limitations.
The search task in extended reality takes approximately 5 minutes. Video recording is mandatory and will primarily be used for behavioural analysis. Images or clips may be used in presentations, but faces will be obscured, and no identifying information will be shared.
