The Carleton University Senate is calling for nominations for Faculty to serve on a variety of Senate Standing Committees:
- Senate Executive Committee
- 3 vacancies – all must be members of Senate
- Senate Academic Governance Committee
- 2 vacancies, at least one must be on Senate and one must be from Sprott
- Senate Committee on Undergraduate Student Awards
- 3 vacancies
- Senate Quality Assurance and Planning Committee
- 2 vacancies; must both be current or recent Senators
- Senate Honorary Degrees Committee
- 1 vacancy for a faculty member from FED
- Senate Review Committee
- 1 vacancy for a faculty member from Sprott
Faculty selected and confirmed will serve a three-year term for the period of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028. The deadline for applications is March 28, 2025. Once the deadline for nominations has passed, positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, provided candidates meet the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility
Faculty committee positions are open to full-time faculty members at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor level.
