Yes, you’re in the right place to register for the Linguavision Song Competition!
IMPORTANT:
If you are registering for a group, please REGISTER ONCE. Each group member does not need to register individually.
Complete the form below to register. Do this IMMEDIATELY as spots will fill up fast!
Please be aware that submitting the form does not guarantee your spot in the contest. After you have submitted the form, it will be reviewed by the Linguavision Team. We will check (a) that there is still space in the language you are competing in and (b) that you are eligible to compete.
If you are found to be eligible, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.
Entries per Language
In order to ensure representation of as many languages as possible, we limit the number of entries in each language. Details are listed on our main webpage. If your language is already full, we will place you on a waiting list. If spaces still remain when registration closes on Friday, January 30 at 4:30 PM, we may begin adding from the wait list.
Eligibility
Also, please remember that, in order to be eligible for this competition, singers must have successfully completed (or currently be taking) a language learning course at Carleton between Winter 2024 and Winter 2026. Other restrictions apply. Be sure to consult the Linguavision website for details.
IMPORTANT:
In the interest of fairness, past contestants whose entries have won more than $100 are not eligible to register during the first week of registration. If space remains after this first week, we may open registration to these past competitors.
