Below are 3 table examples. Each table has one key component/feature missing from them. Can you find the one thing missing from each table?

Table 1:

Students and Their Corresponding Programs

Marta	Biology
Anthony	Communication and Media Studies

Missing item from table: column headers. There should be corresponding headers above the to columns. The column header above the names should be titled “Students” and the column header above the programs should be titled “Corresponding programs”.

Kim	3
Kourtney	7
Khloe	0

Missing item from table: Table header/ heading. Each table should be labelled with a heading that provides context to the table. The header for this table could be “Students and how many siblings they have”

Table 3:

Students and their favourite animal

Student	Favourite animal
Colleen	elephant
Susan	pig
Timothy
Richard	cat

Missing item from table: empty cell. Even if Timothy does not have a favourite animal, the word “none” should be written as an answer in the cell, so that screen readers do not skip over the blank cell, and miscommunicate the information in the table
