The Three-Minute Thesis Competition (3MT)

The Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs is pleased to announce the inaugural Three-Minute Thesis competition for Carleton graduate students. The original competition was created by The University of Queensland, Australia in 2008. The idea is for grad students to deliver a clear and concise oral presentation of their independent research, presenting the key idea and impact of their research in three minutes or less. The 3MT will take place on March 26-27 as part of the Graduate Research Forum organized by the Graduate Students’ Association.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors. The top two participants will then be funded to compete at the Provincial 3MT competition at Queen’s University.

Full details are available on the 3MT website.
