The Department of History is currently home to the Pinhey’s Point Foundation exhibit “Remedies, Elixirs, and Medical Men” in the department on the 4th floor of Paterson Hall, the first of two exhibitions that will visit the department this autumn to complement the theme of this year’s Shannon Lectures in History, entitled “Critical Care: Treatment of Body and Mind in Social and Cultural History“. The formal opening of the exhibit will take place during a reception on Friday, September 30 at 4:00pm, following the first of the Shannon Lectures.
