The History Department is happy to announce that our next Shannon Lecture series will be starting up again at the beginning of 2023.

This year’s series is “Climate Histories” with convenor Professor Joanna Dean:

  • January 16: Observation Nation with Alan MacEachern, Western University
  • January 23: Resilience and Adaptation in the History of Climate and Society with Dagomar Degroot, Georgetown University (Online)
  • February 6: Climate Diplomacy and its Histories: Inside the IPCC with Ruth Morgan, Australian National University
