What is your favourite thing about the program?

The program had such variety, you could study history in large and small scales and we were taught all the tools you needed to keep doing that for yourself afterwards.

What will you miss the most?

Strangely I will miss being marked. No one is running around giving you an ‘A” or a “C” afterwards in your professional life. You don’t receive that kind of quick feedback as to how you are doing as you make your way forward outside of the university.

What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?

My favourite book was Town and Crown by David L.A. Gordon introduced in HIST 3209 Canadian Urban History class. It gave me so much new insight regarding my hometown.

What’s next for you?

The program has given me the ability to follow up on new career developments and learning opportunities with my updated skills and competencies in my profession as a public servant with the Federal government.
