Prof. Melanie Adrian, Managing Editor of the Canadian Journal of Law and Society (CJLS), confirmed today that the Journal has received a 3 year SSHRC grant totalling approximately $90,000. The funding will help support the ongoing publishing activities of the Journal, and support the work of two PhD students. Congratulations to the editorial and management team, whose hard work earned the Journal a third place ranking out of 39 journals that applied for funding.

Prof. Adrian wishes to acknowledge and thank the entire team who worked on the application, including members of our Department, Prof. Dawn Moore (an Editor in Chief), and PhD student Robyn Pepin (an Editorial Assistant).
