The Semester in Development is a term-long, experiential program designed for students interested in studying, interning and living in sub-Saharan Africa. The program takes place in Kampala, Uganda, is open to undergraduate students of all backgrounds, and runs May 20th – August 7th, 2015.
Program Summary:
Students enrolled in the program study one day a week (at Makerere University) and intern for four days a week (in an organization of their choosing). While abroad, participants gain in-demand, career relevant skills while learning from leading African academics, earning transferable credits that can be applied to any Canadian institution.
