Renate Mohr, a former member of the Department of Law and Legal Studies, passed away early this morning. Renate [B.A. (York), LL.B., LL.M. (Queen’s)], was with the Department from 1987 to 2001; she wrote and taught principally in the area of criminal law, notably on the topics of sexual assault and sentencing. Renate was an extremely popular and engaged teacher, activist and colleague, and she was greatly missed when she retired.
