Bullying and Racism of Indigenous Students in Northern Ontario
PhD candidate, Robyn O’Loughlin, has been researching the effects of the September 2012 anti-bullying framework within Ontario’s Education Act. Growing up in Thunder Bay, she witnessed harassment and racism towards Indigenous people in the community as well as Indigenous students attending a local high school. Her grandmother’s personal story also inspired her research.
